Privacy

The gallery collects the personal information required to conduct an acquisition: your name, contact details, delivery address, and payment information (the last handled by our payment processor; the gallery never sees it). This is processed as necessary to perform the contract of sale.

If you subscribe to the gallery's correspondence, your electronic address is processed on the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time by the unsubscribe link. The gallery will take no offence and record none.

The gallery's website is operated on Shopify, whose processing is described in its own privacy policy. The gallery does not sell personal information. It sells art.

Information is retained for as long as required for tax and legal purposes (generally six years) and thereafter deleted. You have the rights afforded by UK data protection law — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection — exercisable in writing to enquiries@stupidlyexpensive.art. Complaints may be directed to the Information Commissioner's Office, though the gallery would prefer you raise the matter with us first, discreetly.

Data controller: Iain Spinks, trading as Snobby's, Scotland, United Kingdom. Contact: enquiries@stupidlyexpensive.art.
